Group will evaluate another group
Each
person will do a "Group Evaluation" of the others in your group.
Activity 3: Videomaking Prep Today: Why videos in the classroom? Go over assignment expectations (document)
Discuss storyboarding (refer to document. Print up as many of these as needed.)
Discuss process (PRE: plan, props. D1: film, extract raw footage, take
with you on a CD. D2: import raw footage, learn iMovie, edit, burn final copy to
CD, submit)
Next Week: 1pp= one per person 1pg = one per group
(Prior) Go to the YahooGroups Files section to find the appropriate
documents under Video Production.
Bring: COMPLETED storyboards. One set per group. All illustrations. All scripting. CDs
with music 1pp. At least 1, large capacity,
empty, flash drive.
Blank CDs 1pp, I don't suggest CD-RW, but CD-R instead. 9v batteries 1pg. Props. mini DV camcorder tape, 1pg.
Film the video.
Assignments Due for
next week:
1) Group Reflection: Your Group Reflection
document will be due prior to April 22nd. Email this to me as
instructed on the document.
2) Do an Internet search and find 3 resources or articles that discuss
the use of student-created video in the classroom. Post your links and discuss your
findings in your blog. Within your "group" you should not
duplicate the resources / or articles you find. Communicate with each
other to "stake a claim" on the resources / articles that you choose.
3) Bring to class: Completed storyboards and plans to turn in. (Make copies if you'd like to keep a set for yourselves)
