Software Evaluations

Virtual Class


Activity 1: Work on your Software Evaluations and Presentations. Coordinate with your group to decide when to meet. Everyone should evaluate the software. Everyone presents on presentation day. Rehearse. 

In your software proposal email to me: include the names of the people in your group.


Important: You MUST submit a software proposal and receive approval from me before evaluating software(s). You MUST get approval PRIOR to evaluating software: First come, first served. No duplicates. Appoval Dates only on: March 28th. April 4th. April 11th Note:You may be denied (typically due to duplication) and will want to have the time to choose another software. Write me at sportaci@csusm.edu for approval. The sooner you email me for approval the sooner you can get started working with your group. Your proposal must include: 1) Group member names, 2) software to eval, 3) what grade / curricular area the software will address.

You will present your review of the software on April 15th


Assignments:

Go to the Files Section of our YahooGroup and find 3 documents: 1 Software Review Critique, 2 Software Review Reqs, and 3 groupreflect

Read the Req sheet for instructions.

Print one copy for each person of the Critique sheet and bring to class on the day of the presentations (April 15th).

Due Your group software proposal

Bring your handouts to class to distribute prior to your presentation.

VERIFY that you presentation will work on the computers in our classroom prior to presentation night.

Your Group Reflection document will be due prior to April 22. Email this to me as instructed on the document.
